Last updated: June 14, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Woordly, a daily word guessing game. By using Woordly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Using Woordly

Woordly is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may play daily puzzles, random puzzles, view hints and review pages, and use related features we make available.

Please use Woordly fairly. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it aggressively, bypass security or rate limits, interfere with other players, or use Woordly for unlawful activity.

Accounts and sign-in

Woordly may create an anonymous account so we can save your game progress and stats. You may also choose to sign in with supported third-party providers such as Google or Discord. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

If you lose access to an anonymous browser session, we may not be able to restore the related account or stats.

Game content and results

We try to keep puzzles, answers, hints, stats, and review pages accurate and available, but mistakes or interruptions may happen. We may change, reschedule, remove, or correct puzzle content when needed.

Intellectual property

Woordly, including its design, text, features, puzzle pages, and other original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute substantial parts of the service without permission.

Woordly is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wordle or The New York Times. Wordle is a trademark of its respective owner.

Third-party services

Some parts of Woordly depend on third-party services, including hosting providers and optional sign-in providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

Availability and changes

We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of Woordly at any time. We may also update these Terms as the service changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

Disclaimer

Woordly is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woordly and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or service availability arising from your use of Woordly.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Woordly if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service, or used Woordly in a harmful or unlawful way.
